Do you think the trawler that trawl sakura ebi at Gueisan fishing ground already or almost hit maximum limit ? based on your earlier stock assessment, and other statistics. so far around 35 vessels trawl sakura ebi at this fishing ground. I noticed that it seems the number of vessels is subject to seafood processor directly, each processor will sign up trawler to trawl this shrimp, based on their sales/export volumn demand. and cash flow, since they have to pay cash to purchase catch. hence also subject to indirect factor: Japanese market demand. I assume the domestic sales channel for this shrimp is very small %.

龜山島櫻蝦只有5年歷史，目前是買方市場，不像東港櫻蝦有30年歷史，現在是賣方市場，這是我最擔憂的事。龜山島櫻蝦漁場範圍不大，作業船隻若超過30艘，尤其是白天作業的拖網漁法，一天下3-4網次，撈捕棲息在水深100-200公尺的櫻蝦群，對櫻蝦資源將是種沉重的漁獲壓力。若漁政管理單位(宜蘭縣政府)不積極介入管控資源年捕獲量，水試所又消極被動不進行資源年捕獲量評估研究，任由買方外銷日本需求，操縱產量及作業期延長，短期內(2-3年)還看不到影響，長期(5-10年)下來將會嚴重傷害龜山島櫻蝦資源的品質及永續。

櫻蝦漁場位於龜山島南面水深200公尺處

日本櫻蝦有115年歷史，但是至今每年櫻蝦禁漁期間，日本靜岡縣水產技術研究所仍然持續進行櫻蝦產卵狀況調查，而漁政管理單位、產銷班也嚴格規定作業漁船數、噸數，同時也限制網具規模大小及作業方法，徹底實施資源管理型永續漁業。
